Upcoming: multiple validated translations of the PG-SGA and Pt-Global app

Several new language translations are on their way! On 12 December 2015, the validated Portuguese version of the PG-SGA will be launched at the PG-SGA training course in Porto, Portugal, that will be organized in close collaboration with the Portuguese PEN Society (APNEP). In addition, the launch of the validated Norwegian and Brazilian-Portuguese version of the PG-SGA and Pt-Global app are planned for early 2016.

We greatly acknowledge the commitment to the Principles of Good Practice for the Translation and Cultural Adaptation Process for Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) Measures (‘ISPOR Guideline’ by Wild et al., 2005) by João Pinho, Sandra Gomes Silva and Paula Ravasco (Portugal), Sissi Stove Lorentzen, Lene Thoresen and Christine Henriksen (Norway), and Maria Cristina Gonzalez and Silvana Paiva Orlandi and their colleagues from Brazil, which supports the integrity of the instrument.
